the essence of success........

The Essence of Success

“ A great idea is but a subtle product of mind and curiosity is what fuels it to action”

There is a vision of success in the minds of all of us but few of us realise the vital ingredients for it, few of us realise the importance of perseverance, envisioning, creativity and perception in our quest for happiness . Also the happiness I am referring to here is one that is continuous and lifelong , in the pursuit of which all of us are running this rat race.
It’s true that most of us have a very eluding definition of success in the dictionaries of our lives , many of us believe that getting more marks than another person in an examination or leaving a company behind in terms of the gross profit or leading a few nations in terms of GDP or perceiving the bank account always full to the brim are signs of success .
But I think this concept is too deep to be related to such petty things. In fact, the real success is a phenomenon that is more about internal satisfaction than external. It is not about wearing expensive accessories or flashy clothing or sporting luxurious cars. It is about the peace that one achieves after seeing the fruits of his labour , the divine feeling that one experiences on seeing his vision transform to reality, the bliss that one encounters on seeing his creativity in action and himself in control of his own actions in totality.
A very meaningful saying goes as- “failing to plan is planning to fail”. It’s true that planning is a very mandatory aspect of a truly successful life, planning of our time – the most important commodity of our life . Another thing that needs effective management in life is our infinite potential. It is a sorry state that only a handful of us realise the expanse of the reservoir of our potential that can be tapped through effective application of our willpower. Yes! It is this willpower that sets apart the difference between real success and an eyewash victory.
Another quite useful saying goes like “happiness comes through good judgement, good judgement comes through experience and experience through mistakes”
It’s true ,there is nothing shameful about committing mistakes , and real greatness lies not only in learning from our own mistakes but learning through others’ mistakes as well . Mistakes are quite like relationships ,everyone commits them but only a few realise their significance.
The parameters that lead to complete development also include discipline along with a genuine sense of simplicity. Discipline helps us keep track of our aims and our perceptions, it helps us in proper application of our willpower because will is something that does not have a mind of its own , it acts according to impulse, according to the way it is conditioned and it improves by more and more application in the right situations. Simplicity belongs to the enlightened, to those who lead a life of purpose, who are not deterred by the worldly problems or the criticism that they receive in the pursuit of their aim. I believe that this is one thing that we can very well learn from everyday examples like weather; it never pays any attention to criticism.
If I combine the aspects in a nutshell, I had emphasise that saying that you don’t have time to improve your thoughts and life is like saying that you don’t have time for gas because you are too busy driving. 'Through the steel of discipline, you will forge a character rich with courage and peace. Through the virtue of will, you are destined to rise to life’s highest ideal and live within a heavenly mansion that is filled with all that is blissful and vital.'
Assemble these pearls together and I assure you that nothing in this world can stop you from weaving the garland of “true success”.
